The IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement will work in conjunction with the Hillel staff to manage and bolster the success of Penn Hillel’s student engagement strategy, with a focus on its Birthright Israel program. The IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement will be a dynamic self-starter, capable of envisioning and delivering upon a plan to grow the number of students traveling on Penn Hillel’s Birthright Israel buses as well as providing support and inspiration to Birthright Israel participants before and after their trip. The IACT Coordinator will develop awesome experiences that engage participants in Jewish life once back on campus, and will enable students to think meaningfully about how they want to grow in their Jewish identities, and what role Israel will play in their lives.
The IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement will possess contagious Jewish passion, entrepreneurial energy, strong leadership, and networking skills. The IACT Coordinator for Israel Engagement, along with Hillel staff, will innovate, grow, and experiment with models of Jewish experience, community, prayer, and service that will influence the future of American Judaism.
If you have any questions about the role, please reach out to Penn Hillel's Assistant Director, Jenna Ferman, at [email protected]
About Hillel International
In 1923, Rabbi Benjamin Frankel started Hillel with humble means, a noble mission and a breathtaking vision: to convey Jewish civilization to a new generation. Today, Hillel International continues to enrich the lives of Jewish students and is the largest Jewish campus organization in the world at more than 550 colleges and universities across North America and around the world. As Hillel evolves as an organization, the mission remains steadfast: to create lasting connections with every Jewish student that foster an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel and train them to become the next Jewish leaders.
Hillel is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an accepting and inclusive environment for all.
