Join one of the leading outreach organizations in North America and use your skills to build strong relationships with rabbis, educators and instructors. You will work with partners across the denominational spectrum to actively promote our programs, and help them to facilitate these programs and workshops at their synagogues and Jewish centers. This position requires an extremely focused and upbeat individual who pays careful attention to detail, maintaining accurate record keeping and updating corresponding databases. You’ll be part of a programming team helping to develop successful strategies designed to positively impact upon tens of thousands of North American Jewry. “People skills” are a must for this position.
Experience in the use of promotion and marketing on social media platforms and a background in graphic design would be a plus.
The candidate will also serve as a backup to the Assistant to the Director. They should possess office expertise, strong computer skills, and basic Judaic knowledge. This will entail telephone and other secretarial responsibilities including transcription. The position requires strong attention to detail, fast and accurate typing, a knowledge of Hebrew and an ability to multi-task and coordinate his/her work in a timely fashion.
Experience in non-profit or similar environment a plus. Salary commensurate with background and experience.
This temporary position is full-time, and the candidate will work remotely. It is possible that a qualified candidate may be offered a permanent position. Hourly compensation for this temporary position will range from $20-$22 per hour, and if the job becomes permanent, the annual salary range will be from $40,000 to $47,000.
