Overview

The Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing a community of users, serving as a user advocate, and charting rewarding user journeys and experiences. This is a full-time, hourly position based in the US with remote privileges, reporting to the COO/CMO. Resumes should be sent to [email protected]

Duties and responsibilities

  • Community Development and Engagement: Build and nurture a thriving Torah Live community by initiating discussions, sharing updates, and providing helpful content on online forums, and other community platforms.
  • Multi-channel Communication Strategy: Develop and implement user communication plans that align with Torah Live’s overall objectives and messaging guidelines. Create multi-channel personalized onboarding and nurturing campaigns using tools like Intercom to engage users via email, product tours, chatbots, banners, surveys, SMS, and in-app messaging. Ensure a consistent user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Content Creation and Curation: Develop and share engaging content that resonates with the community and drives user engagement, such as blog posts, help center articles, or downloads.
  • Metrics and Reporting: With the assistance of tools such as Intercom and Mixpanel, track and analyze the key metrics of community engagement, such as user growth, engagement rates, conversions, click-through rates, feature adoption, and feedback. Use these insights to make data-driven decisions that optimize community engagement objectives.
  • Feedback and Insights: Gather and analyze feedback directly from the community using tools like surveys and support interactions to identify trends, common pain points, and areas for improvement. Share these insights with the relevant internal teams.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, such as marketing, sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure that all user communications are consistent with the company's branding and messaging guidelines.
  • Crisis Communication: Assist in the development and execution of crisis communication plans, ensuring that users are informed and updated during challenging situations.
  • Customer Support and Escalation: Address customer concerns, questions, and feedback, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members or departments, while maintaining a close relationship with the customer.
