We are looking for an energetic and engaging teacher to teach in our Religious School on Sundays from 9:30 am-12:30 pm and Wednesdays from 3:45 pm to 5:45 pm. The main objectives are as follows: a deep and comprehensive study of the history of the Jewish people, both in the land of Israel and throughout the diaspora, including an examination of what made this society so cohesive that the Jews were able to remain a people even over centuries without a land of their own. The teacher will also teacher Hebrew prayers and continue to build on the student’s Jewish values through thought-provoking lessons.
Requirements: Knowledge and passion for teaching our Jewish practices and history. Strong leadership and enthusiasm for subject matter. Ability to teach basic Hebrew skills, as needed for students' comprehension and recitation of prayers.
