Consultant/Independent Contractor needed for Private Charitable Foundation-
Join a mission-driven private charitable foundation and contribute to meaningful, high-impact work. Our Foundation supports initiatives in the Jewish community, medical advancement, underserved populations, women and children, neurodivergent communities, and more.
This is a part-time, independent contractor role (approximately 10-15 hours per week), primarily in-person at the beginning, and is well-suited for a highly organized professional with strong administrative and technical skills.
Scope of Work:
Organize, update, and maintain electronic and physical records
Assist with logistics and preparation for meetings, including Board meetings
Track grant deadlines and reporting requirements
Provide administrative and operational support across Foundation activities, including general project coordination
Prepare, update, and manage spreadsheets for budgeting, grant tracking, and general Foundation operations
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of administrative or relevant professional experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, DocuSign, and Zoom
Prior experience working with nonprofit organizations is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Live in San Diego
Additional Information:
This role is an independent contractor position. The individual engaged will be expected to manage their own schedule (within agreed-upon parameters) and perform services in a professional and autonomous manner.
