About Northeastern Hillel

Northeastern Hillel, the third oldest Hillel building in the movement, is a charming four floor Boston brownstone on a quiet tree lined street on the corner of campus. With 1200 Jewish students, and 80% of them engaged with Hillel, Jewish life is thriving here. Not counting the director, there is an incredibly talented full time team of four and part time team of three.  Northeastern Hillel has a history of innovation, reflected by our winning of the campus innovating programming award in 2021. You'll have the opportunity to wear many different hats, whether it is joining in a wine tasting or pet therapy event to working closely with the university development team, hosting parent bagel brunches and staffing interfaith trips to Israel.

About Hillel International

In 1923, Rabbi Benjamin Frankel started Hillel with humble means, a noble mission and a breathtaking vision: to convey Jewish civilization to a new generation. Today, Hillel International continues to enrich the lives of Jewish students and is the largest Jewish campus organization in the world at more than 550 colleges and universities across North America and around the world. As Hillel evolves as an organization, the mission remains steadfast: to create lasting connections with every Jewish student that foster an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning, and Israel and train them to become the next Jewish leaders.

Northeastern Hillel is affiliated with Hillel International. Hillel International enriches the lives of Jewish students so they may enrich the Jewish people and the world, and envisions a world where every student is inspired to make an enduring commitment to Jewish life, learning and Israel.
