Who We Are???

Since 1948, Temple Sinai has carried out the vision of its founders: to be a warm and caring Jewish community dedicated to perpetuating Reform Judaism and meaningful Jewish expression. Throughout the years, individuals of all ages and stages have entered the doors of our sanctuary to pray together, learn together, and share the most sacred moments of their lives with their Temple Sinai family. Our collective social conscience mandates that we participate in, and seek to improve, our community, our country, Israel, and the world. We have created a thriving and meaningful Jewish community in the true sense of the word. We are truly proud of who we are: Temple Sinai, where every heart has a home.

Temple Sinai offers a wide variety of youth programs for students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. In addition to developing a strong connection to Judaism, those who participate create friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Temple Sinai provides a safe, inclusive space for youth to interact, learn, lead, and simply have fun.

SULAM, Temple Sinai of Roslyn's teen engagement department, is the largest and most dynamic teen program in Nassau County, with several pathways for teen engagement and participation. Offering cultural, social, academic and advocacy-focused opportunities, we engage over 130 teens each year, 8th through 12th grade.

Whether in cooking classes, Fantasy Football leagues, leadership and advocacy training, or volunteering with children from homeless shelters, our teens are able to enhance their Jewish education, repair the world, feel connected and spend time in a safe and welcoming environment.  In addition to our weekly or monthly programs, we have amazing immersive trips and special events.

Who You Are???

Do you dream of working in a collaborative environment that supports youth and teens as they deepen their sense of self and their connection to the Jewish community? Do you thrive in a work environment that welcomes and encourages innovative programming and creative thinking? Are you a good communicator with strong organizational skills, and a motivated self-starter? Do you excel in multitasking and prioritizing projects and deadlines? If so, we have the position for you!
