Role
The Program Support Assistant at Beth El Synagogue is responsible for providing administrative support to team members throughout the planning and implementation of synagogue programming. Their duties include communicating between program leaders/participants and synagogue staff to coordinate programming and creating and updating synagogue calendars and schedules. In addition, this person will support general administrative duties for the synagogue, including assisting the Senior Rabbi.
Responsibilities
- Manage online resources using ShulCloud software for member communications.
- Maintain synagogue calendars and send out reminders of upcoming appointments, programs, and events.
- Assist in planning and overseeing synagogue programs and events.
- Act as a liaison between community groups/committees and synagogue staff.
- Respond to general synagogue emails and field general phone calls.
- Coordinate offsite business meetings.
- Assist in creating presentations for special synagogue programming.
- Manage Senior Rabbi calendar and help with life cycle events.
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the synagogue office.
- Coordinate with the bookkeeper to ensure payment for vendors and suppliers is handled properly.

Compensation and Benefits
Beth El offers a competitive salary and generous benefits package as summarized below. More specific information on benefits can be provided to candidates invited for an interview.
Salary: $42,500 to $50,000 depending on experience
