Job Title: HRIS Analyst (Paycom Expertise) - Drive HR Efficiency at Wilshire Boulevard Temple

Location: Mid -Wilshire, Los Angeles, CA

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Position Summary:

Are you a detail-oriented and experienced HRIS Analyst with a passion for leveraging technology to optimize HR processes? Wilshire Boulevard Temple (WBT), a cornerstone of the Los Angeles community with a rich history and a vibrant future, is seeking a skilled individual to join our Human Resources team. In this pivotal role, you will be the subject matter expert for our Human Resources Inforamtion System (HRIS), primarily Paycom, ensuring its seamless integration, functionality, and accuracy. You will collaborate closely with HR and IT teams to streamline workflows, improve data integrity, and ultimately enhance the overall employee experience. Key Responsabilities:

  • HRIS Management & Maintenance (Focus on Paycom):
    • Serve as the primary administrator for the Paycom HRIS platform, managing day-to-day operations, configurations, and security protocols.
    • Ensure the accurate and timely entry, maintenance, and integrity of all employee data within Paycom, including payroll, benefits, performance management, and compliance information.
    • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve HRIS system issues, escalating complex technical concerns to the IT team and Paycom support as needed.
    • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and documentation related to Paycom processes and fuctionalities.
  • System Optimization & Reporting:
    • Utilize Paycom's reporting and analytics tools to develop and generate insighfull, customized reports and dashboards that provide actionable intelligence on key HR metrics (e.g., payroll, employee performance, headcount, turnover).
    • Identify opportunites to optimize HR system processes, streamline workflows, and automate repetitive tasks within Paycom to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Analyze data trends and employee needs to provide data-driven recommendations for system enhacements and process improvements to HR leadership
  • Payroll & Benefits Integration (Paycom Focus):
    • Ensure accurate and timely integration of payroll, benefits administration, and time and attendance data within the Paycom system.
    • Collaborate closely with the payroll team to identify and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring compliance with all revelant tax regulations and company policies within Paycom.
    • Stay up to date on Paycom updates and best practices related to payroll and benefits administration.
  • User Support & Training:
    • Serve as the main point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries from HR team members and employees, providing timely and effective support.
    • Develop and deliver training sessions and resources to HR staff and employees on how to effectively utilize Paycom features and functionalities.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Bacherlor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a HRIS Analyst or similar role with demostrated expertise in Paycom HRIS administration and configuration.
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, including payroll, benefits, talent management, and compliance.
    • Proven ability to generate insightful reports and analyze HR data.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Preferred:
    • Paycom certification(s).
    • Experience with the HR technologies and intergrations.
    • Project management skills.
