As a Fellow focused on expanding opportunities for understanding antisemitism, your primary responsibility will be to find potential audiences for educational workshops aimed at increasing awareness and understanding of antisemitism.  You will also customize workshop materials and deliver engaging sessions that promote awareness of the history and modern manifestations of antisemitism and offer guidance on how to respond.

The Antisemitism and Outreach Fellow does all this while adhering to AJC’s core values: Respect, Teamwork, Integrity, Excellence, and Accountability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reach out to private sector and educational institutions to arrange antisemitism awareness workshops.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine our workshop materials on antisemitism tailored to the private sector. Ensure that the curriculum covers relevant historical contexts, contemporary manifestations, and strategies for addressing antisemitism.
  • Work closely with potential partners to understand their specific needs and tailor programs accordingly. Adapt content and delivery methods to resonate with diverse audiences across different industries and organizational cultures.
  • In partnership with lay and professional leadership, facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for staff at various levels, including executives, managers, and staff members. Utilize interactive techniques, case studies, and multimedia resources to foster meaningful discussions and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Implement mechanisms for assessing the impact and effectiveness of workshops. Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and inform future program enhancements.
  • Stay informed about current events, research, and trends related to antisemitism and other bigotries. Continuously update workshop materials to reflect the lates insights and developments in the field.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as marketing or education.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in sales, fundraising, or other outreach related activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with potential partners.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the subject matter of antisemitism, including its historical context, contemporary manifestations, and impact on society.
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering educational programs, preferable within corporate or organizational settings.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and create and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
