JLens empowers investors to align their capital with Jewish values and advocates for Jewish communal priorities in the corporate arena. Our Jewish Investor Network is composed of over 30 Jewish institutions, representing more than $11 billion in Jewish community investment capital. JLens’ advocacy is focused on combating antisemitism & hate, supporting Israel, and addressing critical Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) issues.
JLens Research
JLens is the only organization conducting research on corporate behavior and policy related to issues of importance to the Jewish community. JLens’ bespoke company scorecards on Combating Antisemitism & Hate and Support for Israel are the backbone of its screening and advocacy strategies and inform shareholder advocacy priorities. JLens conducted research into financial services firm Morningstar’s ESG ratings that exposed systemic anti-Israel bias. This research inspired a community-wide campaign which resulted in wholesale changes to Morningstar’s methodology and analyst guidelines. JLens report, The Impact of Israel Divestment on Equity Portfolios: Forecasting BDS’s Financial Toll on University Endowments, was a first-of-its-kind study that comprehensively quantified the financial implications of BDS-aligned investment strategies for universities. Students across the U.S. have utilized the findings to combat calls for their universities to divest from Israel.
We are seeking a hard-working, detail-oriented, and self-starting Research Analyst (Part-Time Freelancer) to bolster JLens’ research efforts. Join our team at the forefront of Jewish values-based investing to assist efforts to combat antisemitism and support the Jewish community and Israel.
