Surprise Lake Camp (an overnight sleepaway camp) in Cold Spring, NY is hiring a Canteen Manager to oversee one of the busiest, most fun hubs on campus. The canteen is where both campers and staff hang out, so you’re right in the middle of the energy all summer.
This is a paid, residential summer role (June 18 to August 23, with some flexibility on the end date) with housing, meals, and a built-in community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee the canteen day to day
- Supervise and support Canteen Aides
- Track inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Help create events like trivia nights, bingo, open mic, and more
- Work with other staff to make the canteen a great space for campers and staff

What We’re Looking For
- 19+
- Organized, reliable, and good with people
- Comfortable taking responsibility
- Basic Excel skills
- Retail, food service, or leadership experience is a plus
