Position Overview:


B’nai B’rith International is seeking a talented and creative professional to join our team as the Development & Strategic Initiatives Content Manager. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to bring our impactful messaging and new initiatives to life, connecting with our members and supporters in meaningful ways. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advancing our mission, supporting new programs, and enhancing our strategic outreach across various platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Design & Implementation: Assist in the conception and launch of new initiatives, crafting engaging content to drive awareness and participation. Develop materials across print, web, and social media to promote these programs.
  • Compelling Content Creation: Craft clear and impactful messaging, reports, and updates to effectively communicate our mission and the progress of new programs. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accuracy and cohesive messaging.
  • Website Management: Design and update pages for new programs, ensuring content is properly integrated with existing site architecture. Utilize WordPress Elementor and CRM tools to optimize user experience.
  • Social Media Advertising: Create and implement dynamic social media campaigns across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Twitter) to promote new initiatives. Develop graphics, videos, and other collateral materials, track metrics, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Trend Monitoring & Strategic Targeting: Track relevant trends and world events, integrating them into content strategies to draw attention to key issues and initiatives.
  • Guides & Toolkits for Constituents: Create instructional guides to empower community-level implementation of new initiatives, providing clear resources and support.
  • Grant Research & Funding Support: Research, draft, and submit grant applications to secure funding for new initiatives. Collaborate with key team members to identify potential funders and support targeted outreach efforts.
  • Support for Community Programs: Collaborate with program manager on community initiatives.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in nonprofit program design, creative content development. Proven experience in content writing, preferably in a nonprofit Jewish communal organizational setting.
  • Strategic Communication Skills: Proven ability to develop and execute successful communication strategies. Exceptional writing, proofing, and content creation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with WordPress, MS Office 365, social media platforms and related advertising campaigns, CRM systems, and grassroots advocacy platforms like SoftEdge or similar.

They will be exceptional communicators with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and execute innovative programs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and technical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects effectively, and a keen understanding of the power of storytelling in fostering engagement. Most importantly, they will bring enthusiasm, adaptability, and a deep commitment to supporting Israel, Jewish peoplehood, and the values of B’nai B’rith International.
