Education & Experience:
• Degree in Jewish education or related field.
• Knowledge of cultural and religious Judaism a must to be able to set expectations and provide guidance to instructional staff.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in comparable setting.
• Educational background which meets federal and state requirements for early childhood education facility.
• Strong understanding of technology including Microsoft Office Suite and online learning platforms and engagement tools.
This is a full-time position at Congregation B’nai Israel in Gainesville, Florida. This position will supervise key staff in our burgeoning preschool, K-2 program and Hebrew school. Working closely with the congregation Rabbi and reporting to the executive director, we envision a position perfect for a person with an advanced degree in Jewish education or related field and who desires a key position in our medium-sized congregation.
An ideal candidate will be able to lead strategically but also have an all-encompassing hands-on demeanor—someone who will inspire through leadership and create a collaborative work environment.
