Temple Beth Shalom (Hastings-on-Hudson, NY) Seeks Hebrew Through Movement Specialist

Temple Beth Shalom – a Reform synagogue in the Rivertowns of Westchester – is looking for a Hebrew Through Movement Specialist to join our Sunday Religious School team.

The Temple Beth Shalom Religious School Hebrew-Through-Movement Specialist will be trained in Hebrew Through Movement by Onward Hebrew prior to the start of the school year. They will instruct grades K-2 in Hebrew Through Movement lessons that progress with the class.

They will work Sundays for one hour within the 9:15-11am session (e.g., 9:30-10:30, 9:45-10:45). They will spend 15 minutes each with the Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade classes.

This teacher will be paid $102/hr for the 2025-2026 school year. There are 25 Sundays expected in this school year (with an expectation of some snow days or special events), so it will be an estimated $2500-$3000 range for their pay for the academic year (September 2025-June 2026).
