The Brotherhood Synagogue, located on Gramercy Park, is the largest Jewish congregation in downtown New York City with 800 member units. It is an independent, progressive community following the Conservative tradition. Brotherhood Synagogue Nursery School is a Reggio Emilia-inspired educational environment located within our synagogue. We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our team in our 2’s classroom
Position Overview: As an Assistant Teacher in our 2’s classroom, you will work closely with the Lead Teacher to provide a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and be committed to creating a dynamic, play-based learning experience that aligns with the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
