Position: Executive Director, California Jewish Action Network (CALJAN)ExemptSalary: $180,000 - $240,000 plus possible incentive pay; competitive benefits package included
Summary Description of PositionThis position reports directly to the Board Chairs of the California Jewish Action Network (CALJAN) and is responsible for the organization’s overall management, including strategic planning and development, education and training program, fundraising, budget management. CALJAN is a new start-up 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization affiliated with Jewish Federation Los Angeles with office space at Jewish Federation Los Angeles building.
CALJAN MissionRecognizing that considerations and actions taken by local school boards, city councils, boards of supervisors, the California State Legislature, and other public officials directly and materially impact our Jewish community’s safety, security, and ongoing wellbeing, the mission of California Jewish Action Network is to (1) educate our community towards greater participation in government and politics; (2) encourage and facilitate deeper involvement by individual community members in local and state political campaigns and processes; and (3) make available those tools necessary to accomplish these goals.
