Jewish Outreach Educator and Director

The Manhattan Jewish Experience (MJE) seeks a full time Outreach Professional to inspire and help young Jewish professionals grow spiritually and religiously. The ideal candidate should have experience in Orthodox Jewish outreach.

This person should be able to teach Torah classes on a variety of subjects, speak publicly, be a positive role model and be able to inspire, mentor and cultivate relationships with participants who attend programs to develop their connection to the community and to Torah and religious practice.

Specific Responsibilities
Lead and teach - Shabbat, Holidays, and Weekday classes
Act as Synagogue Spiritual Director and Coordinator
Lead Minyan (Learners Service) give Sermon
Assist with weekly Shabbat and Holiday hospitality
Spiritual Mentorship
