The Development Coordinator in the Westchester office provides overall support to four colleagues. They are responsible for the overall support and management of their supervisors’ work. This includes; database management, processing donations, generating reports, scheduling and coordination of appointments, handling incoming and outgoing mail, setting up before and breaking down after meetings, and performing additional or special projects as requested.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of systems and processes that allow for efficient and effective management of the Westchester office and specifically the Venture Funds, B&P and community fundraising.
- Manage event data, including databases, reports, and pledges and payments.
- Organize FRD reports to help with event follow up and open inventory.
- Communicate regularly with UJA donors by email, phone and in person/virtual at events as needed.
- Manage calendars, scheduling, and coordination for assigned staff.
- Be an integral part of the Westchester team, partnering with colleagues on events and lending support wherever and whenever necessary.
Competencies and Qualifications:
- Experience for 1 year+ in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to build effective collaborative relationships with colleagues and donors.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically, dealing with changing priorities, emergent issues, and multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including oral and written.
- Must be a flexible self-starter.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficient in excel, word, Microsoft office
- Flexibility to work at events and programs when required, which may be outside of normal business hours.
Salary Information:
The salary for this role is $55,000.

We offer a generous number of vacation days and have the Jewish holidays off as well. Fridays our offices close early (October to March at 3:00 pm and April to September at 4:00 pm). All so you can relax and recharge.
