Job Overview:  The Regional Human Resource Manager is responsible for the daily functions of the Human Resources department within a specific region, while ensuring alignment with the organizational goals and compliance with local labor laws and regulations. The role places a strong focus on employee relations, ensuring a positive work environment, resolving conflicts, and addressing employee concerns. The Regional HR Manager works closely with leadership and employees to foster strong, open communication, ensuring fair treatment and alignment with company policies and legal requirements, while also promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manages the daily workflow of the HR department and provides support to the employees within the assigned region, as needed.
  • Collaborates with the department managers and Director of HR on an ongoing basis to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborates with the Director of HR to analyze regional workforce data, identify talent gaps, and develop effective talent acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Works closely with supervisors and the training department to track new hire KPIs and performance progress throughout their 90-day probationary period and ensures that regular weekly updates are provided.
  • Provides guidance and support to the supervisor and CMT team addressing any concerns related to new employees and conducting the appropriate follow- ups.
  • Oversees the process of performance reviews and collaborates with the department managers to ensure completion in a timely manner.
  • Oversees the process of employee status change requests and employee promotions.
  • Works closely with the department managers to assist and prepare for the process of disciplinary actions and employee terminations.
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Manages HR related processes such as, employee status change requests, pay reviews and promotions, disciplinary actions, reasonable accommodations, etc., while ensuring processes are followed correctly using the assigned company templates and documents.
  • Conducts exit interviews upon employee separation from TCC and communicates feedback with the Director of HR and other relevant senior management for trend analysis.
  • Handles escalated employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Provides support and guidance to supervisory staff and other staff when complex, and sensitive questions and issues arise, such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Assists with the development of new or updated HR policies and relevant forms and templates.
  • Assists with the implementation of new processes and initiatives to support the organizations HR compliance and strategy needs.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of HR related trainings and/or HR presence at relevant trainings for the workforce, i.e.., New Employee Orientations, Care Manager Informational Webinars, staff, and supervisor trainings, etc.
  • Monitors and responds to the HR Helpdesk email inbox in a timely manner, as needed.
  • Ensures appropriate documentation is maintained in the electronic employee personnel files for accurate record keeping.
  • Ensure timely responses to all inquiries and requests, with a commitment to addressing and resolving issues within 24 hours to maintain efficient operations and employee satisfaction.
  • Assists with the monitoring of compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices, as it relates to HR, within the assigned region. This may include timely auditing of new and existing HR personnel files/records, etc.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies, procedures, and the industry standard.
  • Ensure that the TCC mission statement is followed and promoted by all staff.
  • Takes lead and ownership of assigned tasks and special projects within their respective teams and assist with coverage needs as needed.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Outlook calendar to accurately reflect work-related meetings, appointments, and availability.
  • Participate in mandatory meetings as deemed necessary by supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by CEO or relevant senior leadership staff.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency with the organizations HRIS systems.
  • HR related experience in a supervisory capacity, preferred
