 CRM MANAGER AND ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

The Jewish Council for Public Affairs (JCPA) seeks a detail-oriented, efficient, and enthusiastic individual to serve as CRM Manager and Administrative Coordinator. This is a core support role that ensures the smooth functioning of the organization in areas including communications, fundraising, advocacy, and programming. The CRM Manager and Administrative Coordinator will manage, implement, and update the information systems of the organization, playing a key role in maintaining JCPA’s EveryAction CRM, acting as the in-house EveryAction expert, and working with staff to ensure that all EveryAction needs are managed, prioritized, and supported. The position will also provide administrative support to executive staff to ensure that the team is able to carry out the work efficiently and effectively in a high-energy, fast-paced environment. This position is central to the organization’s success and will report to the COO.

JCPA is the national convener of Jewish coalitions working to build a just and inclusive American democracy. For 80 years, JCPA has brought together national and local organizations and built bridges across communities to address the most pressing issues of the day and set strategies for advocacy and mobilization. 

JCPA recently announced its new strategic focus, building on its long legacy convening the Jewish community to work toward a just and inclusive society and a strong, multiracial democracy -- and greatly expanding on its historical work bringing together diverse racial, ethnic, faith, and civic leaders and communities. This work is more urgent than ever in the face of an unprecedented crisis and broader rise in antisemitism and other forms of hate and extremism.

Responsibilities

CRM Manager

  • Manage and oversee EveryAction, JCPA’s new CRM.
  • Create and maintain EveryAction forms, calls to action, advocacy campaigns, events, and other EveryAction tools for programming and communications.
  • Work with Digital Director to maintain social media tracking on all activist forms and landing pages.
  • Manage donation forms, donor data, reporting, and development automation.
  • Create and maintain EveryAction automation to properly enforce member status, activist codes, integrations, business rules, moves management, and reporting.
  • Develop, schedule, and run customized reports.
  • Clean, update, and import data from external sources.
  • Maintain a high level of data hygiene within EveryAction.
  • Define and maintain standard operating procedures surrounding EveryAction.
  • Provide staff training and write documentation on key elements of EveryAction functionality.
  • Resolve all technical support tickets regarding EveryAction functionality.
  • Act as the primary contact for EveryAction support and account management.
  • Maintain users and security in EveryAction and manage EveryAction licensing information.
  • Process donor acknowledgement letters and other donor communications weekly.
  • Manage and implement all information and communications platforms for webinars, national conferences, and meetings. 
  • Update and oversee the day-to-day functioning of the JCPA website.

Administrative Coordinator

  • Support leadership team with executive assistance needs, including email distribution, meeting management, travel, and calendaring using Microsoft Outlook and files management in Microsoft SharePoint. 
  • Provide support for JCPA Board meetings, including calendaring, agendas, and materials, and take and distribute meeting minutes in a timely manner.
  • Update and keep email lists and listservs current.
  • Manage email inquiries to the general mailbox and direct to the appropriate staff.
  • Provide logistical support for virtual and in-person programs and events.

Skills and Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred  
  • A minimum of two years’ experience managing information systems
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in EveryAction CRM, Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Suite, Google, Zoom
  • A collaborative problem-solver who works well on a team as well as independently
  • Highly organized with stellar attention to detail 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Website management and design a plus

Compensation, Benefits, and Other Details 

  • JCPA is headquartered in New York City. This position is hybrid and will require some time in the office.  
  • The compensation range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience, plus full benefits that include health, dental, life insurance, and a retirement plan.
