Position Overview

Shalom After School (SAS) is a joyful place for kids to play and learn. We offer the services of a premium after school program with a full, experiential Jewish learning curriculum. Supported by the Jewish After School Accelerator (JASA), this program is child-centered and rooted in Jewish values. We seek an energetic educator and entrepreneurial leader ready to hit the ground running to grow and build out SAS, which was launched in fall of 2025.

You are creative, innovative, and thrive in a position where you have a range of responsibilities. You can move easily from water coloring with kindergarteners to problem-solving bus transportation. You love kids and partnering with their parents to help them grow and thrive Jewishly. You may have attended or worked at a Jewish summer camp! You have hidden special talents - in sports, art, or music – which you would enjoy sharing with young people. And you love leading your own team to make this all happen.

The Shalom After School Site Manager & Lead Educator is the outward face of the program and is responsible for growing this exciting new program at Temple Shalom. The job includes a range of responsibilities from family engagement, marketing, and operations to teaching and managing the teaching team.
