Marketing Director (Full-Time)
Location: Remote
Trial Period 3-6 months

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Content Strategy

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that promote JOWMA’s mission and increase brand awareness.

  • Drive consistent growth in audience size and engagement across all platforms.

  • Oversee the creation and execution of a marketing & monetization roadmap.

Digital & Graphic Oversight

  • Manage all digital channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Website, Newsletters, Podcast, Email etc)

  • Oversight and creation of all media communications, not limited to, the weekly newsletter, community health newsletter, premed newsletter, flyer templates and original graphic requests, and brand-aligned marketing material.

  • Maintain and oversee updates to the JOWMA website for optimized user experience and content accuracy.

Content Creation & Branding

  • Create and manage compelling, mission-aligned content across platforms.

  • Oversee visual consistency and messaging tone across all media.

  • Manage and maintain a strategic content calendar.

Social Media Management

  • Grow JOWMA’s social media presence and engagement through strategic and creative content creation and partnerships.

  • Monitor analytics and provide regular performance updates.

  • Lead engagement campaigns, such as giveaways, reels, and influencer collaborations.

Monetization & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and execute monetization strategies across platforms, including:

    • Sponsored content and partnerships

    • Paid digital campaigns

    • Affiliate collaborations

    • Exclusive donor or member-only content

  • Optimize donation funnels and ticket sales through email and digital marketing.

  • Track and report on revenue generated via digital platforms.

Event & Webinar Marketing

  • Promote events and webinars through digital channels.

  • Manage technical aspects of virtual presentations, ensuring seamless execution.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit and manage freelance or part-time creatives as executive leadership requests.

  • Provide mentorship and direction for marketing contributors including JOWMA staff, volunteers, and partners.

  • Maintain a collaborative, can-do attitude, ready to assist across teams when needed.

Data & Security

  • Ensure donor and organizational data security and troubleshoot when necessary.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with leadership on priorities and vision alignment.

  • Collaborate with education, events, and fundraising teams to amplify their initiatives.

  • Propose, test, and implement innovative outreach methods.

Performance Metrics & Benchmarks

Ongoing

  • Bi-Monthly Reports: Analytics on follower growth, engagement, top-performing content, and revenue.

  • Audience & Engagement Goals: Regular tracking of growth, engagement, and platform-specific KPIs.

  • Revenue Tracking: Transparent reporting on all monetization streams.
