Job Listing: Early Childhood Lead Teacher (Pre-K)

Location: Davie/Hollywood, Florida
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (flexible)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a deep commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children. As a lead teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and philosophy
  • Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued and respected
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through open communication and collaboration
  • Assess children's developmental progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Incorporate Jewish values and traditions into daily activities and curriculum
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that meets health and safety standards
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
  • Previous experience as a lead teacher in an early childhood setting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, and values (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
  • CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
