Position Overview: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a deep commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children. As a lead teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and philosophy
- Create a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where all children feel valued and respected
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through open communication and collaboration
- Assess children's developmental progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Incorporate Jewish values and traditions into daily activities and curriculum
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that meets health and safety standards
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
- Previous experience as a lead teacher in an early childhood setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, and values (required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
