BJEP seeks an officiant for our 2025-2026 B'nai Mitzvah cohort of 7-9 students
BJEP (Boston-area Jewish Education Program) is seeking an officiant for our September 2025 - May 2026 B’nai Mitzvah program, with potential for continuation with subsequent cohorts. This is an exciting opportunity for a Rabbi or Rabbinical student to lead a small cohort of about nine (currently 6th grade) students as they study together as Jewish scholars and prepare for this important milestone, culminating in a shared B’nai Mitzvah ceremony. We invite all interested candidates to send a resume and letter of interest to [email protected].
About BJEPBJEP is an independent Jewish education program on the Brandeis campus that offers Sunday morning classes for students in grades K-7 during the school year. We have been serving as a hub of Jewish learning and community on the Brandeis campus for 58 years. Our educators are Brandeis University undergraduate students, who bring their enthusiasm and joy to our classrooms using experiential learning including art, music and games as a means for children to explore Jewish values, Jewish identity, holiday celebrations, eco-Judaism, the practice of Tikkun Olam, and Hebrew.
