High Holy Days Children's Program Leader

Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and engaging educator to lead a High Holy Days program for children ages 5–12 during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Jewish prayers and traditions and the ability to create a meaningful, age-appropriate experience that is both educational and enjoyable.

Responsibilities:

• Lead children's programming during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services

• Teach prayers, stories, and traditions related to the High Holy Days

• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all participants

• Incorporate songs, crafts, and interactive activities to enhance learning

• Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured setting

Qualifications:

• Background in Jewish education or youth programming

• Familiarity with High Holy Day liturgy and customs

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Experience working with children ages 5–12

• Enthusiasm, warmth, and creativity
