The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County is seeking a dynamic Senior Development Officer to join our campaign team. This individual will play a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with donors and prospects, managing donor stewardship, and securing philanthropic support to advance the mission and goals of the Federation.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Donor Relationship Management

  - Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with current and prospective donors.

  - Develop personalized engagement and stewardship plans for donors.

  - Conduct regular outreach, including face-to-face meetings, phone calls, campus tours and outreach events

Fundraising and Development

  - Identify, research, and prioritize new prospects for major gifts.

  - Develop and implement strategies to secure significant financial contributions.

  - Collaborate with colleagues to create compelling fundraising events.

Data Management and Reporting

  - Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the database.

  - Track and report on fundraising progress, donor engagement activities, and outcomes.

  - Analyze data to inform strategies and improve donor cultivation and stewardship efforts.

Collaboration and Teamwork

  - Work closely with the development team and other Federation staff to align fundraising strategies with organizational goals.

  - Participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and professional development opportunities.

  - Represent the Federation at community events and functions as needed.

Required Education & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in development, fundraising, or a related field.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of community members.

- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Proficiency in fundraising software and donor management systems.

- Commitment to the mission and values of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.
