The Alumni Network Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the StandWithUs Alumni Network, which serves Emerson Fellowship alumni and graduates of other leadership programs. Overseeing the Alumni Network involves keeping alumni engaged through exclusive programs, targeted campaigns, leadership training, and more. The Alumni Network Coordinator will maintain a database of all alumni and be in regular communication with network members through newsletters and email communication. Lastly, the Alumni Network Coordinator will assist our international offices in cultivating and curating their own alumni networks.


The position is remote and part-time, and entails 15-20 hours of work per week. It’s important to note that while most of the work can be done during traditional work hours, there will be expectations of a flexible schedule to accommodate evening programs, conferences, etc. 


Alumni Network Coordinator Responsibilities

  • Regular outreach to Emerson Fellowship alumni and maintain a database that includes current professions, events of interest, and more 
  • Build and manage a calendar of interactive events, campaigns, and initiatives for the Alumni Network
  • Recruit for, manage, and mentor alumni leadership committees and guide them in planning programs
  • Compile and send monthly Alumni Network newsletters
  • Coordinate with international offices to provide insights, best practices, and guidance as they cultivate their alumni networks
  • Build partnerships with relevant young leadership organizations
  • Develop a robust understanding of StandWithUs resources and opportunities and be readily available to promote them to relevant audiences
  • Assist in highlighting the successes and impact of the Alumni Network for local board, donors, and other community members


Campus Department Responsibilities 

  • Be an active staff member at Campus conferences and events, which includes presenting and leading breakout sessions 
  • Develop and manage the formal transition of Emerson Fellows to the Alumni Network at the end of the fellowship year
  • Quantify Alumni Network data and metrics regularly for reporting purposes
  • Be an active member of the campus team and participate in department calls and trainings
  • Learn department presentations and get approved to serve as a speaker within your local region



  • Availability of 15-20 hours per week
  • Either recent college graduate or current college student
  • Demonstrated project management, time management, and program-planning skills
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office and GSuite and applications like Zoom 
  • Knowledge of Israel’s history, culture, and current affairs
  • Passion for Israel education and combating antisemitism
  • Experience in campus activism and leadership
  • Ability to work independently and practice a solution-oriented approach
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills required
  • Previous experience as a StandWithUs Emerson Fellow strongly preferred
  • Position is remote
