From our Early Learning Center and Camp Rimon to our Holocaust education initiatives and community outreach programs, the EVJCC is a vibrant hub of Jewish life and community engagement in the East Valley.
Position Overview
The Marketing Production Coordinator is a full-time, exempt position that plays a critical role in the execution of the EVJCC’s marketing, communications, and program outreach efforts. This individual will manage the full lifecycle of external communications—from content creation to delivery—across email, social media, the EVJCC website, and other channels. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and deeply committed to ensuring excellence in how the EVJCC connects with its community.
The Coordinator will work closely with the COO and other department leads to support both day-to-day communications and major initiatives. A deep appreciation for Jewish values and a passion for community-based nonprofit work are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Email Marketing & Campaign Management
- Manage the entire email production pipeline: content setup, scheduling, testing, proofreading, QA, and launch.
- Strategize, implement, and analyze A/B testing for performance optimization.
- Maintain and update branded email templates.
- Collaborate with the Database Administrator to manage contact lists and segmentation.
- Track campaign metrics and generate performance reports.
- Coordinate donor and seasonal campaigns using tools like Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign.
Digital & Social Media Management
- Coordinate and schedule all social media posts across platforms using scheduling tools.
- Create or oversee design of digital marketing assets (flyers, graphics, brochures, impact reports).
- Monitor social engagement and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Create registration pages, landing pages, banners, and pop-ups (WordPress or Unbounce experience preferred).
Website & Content Management
- Manage day-to-day content updates for the EVJCC website.
- Ensure alignment of all messaging with the EVJCC’s brand, voice, and mission.
- Post blogs, newsletters, press releases, and other public-facing communications.
Media Relations & Community Outreach
- Draft and pitch stories; respond to media inquiries as needed.
- Serve as a brand ambassador in local Jewish and general media.
Event & Program Support
- Collaborate with Preschool and Camp Directors on marketing materials and registration systems.
- Track attendance and evaluate engagement for programs and events.
- Support internal customer service efforts through email communications and inquiry response.
Project & Administrative Support
- Maintain workflows and timelines using project management tools like Trello or Asana.
- Provide administrative support to the COO and broader communications team.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed.

Experience & Requirements:
- 2–4+ years in communications, marketing, or related fields; nonprofit experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proven success managing email campaigns, newsletters, and social media.
- Proficiency in Mailchimp, Canva, WordPress, Google Workspace, Trello, Slack, and Zoom.
- Familiarity with CRMs like ZOHO and working knowledge of HTML is a plus.
- Experience using or willingness to learn AI tools for marketing productivity is welcomed.
