High School Judaic Studies Teacher

We are a co-ed Modern Orthodox yeshiva high school dedicated to providing an immersive Jewish educational experience that nurtures students' unique talents while fostering Jewish conviction, pride, and identity. Our inclusive community welcomes Jewish teenagers from all backgrounds, helping them embrace Jewish values and traditions as they develop independence and a desire for meaningful living.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Judaic Studies educator, part-time or full-time, for the 2025-26 school year. The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching Chumash, Talmud and/or Navi to high school students in our Modern Orthodox educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Chumash, Talmud and/or Navi classes in a co-ed high school setting
• Create engaging lessons that connect students with Jewish texts and traditions
• Develop a positive rapport with students
• Utilize technology to enhance instruction
• Work collaboratively with fellow educators
• Demonstrate passion for both Judaism and education

Qualifications

• Strong background in Judaic Studies
• Comfort teaching in a co-ed Modern Orthodox environment
• 1-2 years of classroom experience preferred
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use technology to support instruction
• Passion for Jewish education and building student relationships
