Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director with a proven track record to join the Development team. As Director of Development, you will be responsible for the stewardship of current donors as well as the identification, solicitation, and cultivation of a new pool of donors. The Director will work in tandem with the CDO and Development team in strengthening relationships with key members of the community in order to enhance Ohel’s fundraising reach locally and nationally, while managing their own portfolio of donors. You will work collaboratively to develop Ohel’s fundraising strategy moving forward, identifying gift opportunities for the agency. The Director of Development is a highly motivated, creative, and independent professional with at least 5 years of fundraising experience and a Bachelor’s degree. You are also a team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
This role is open to a resident of New York or Florida.
