Description

We are a non-profit organization seeking a Fundraising/Development Specialist. Our ideal candidate will be in charge of identifying and implementing fundraising campaigns, as follows:

Job Duties:

  • Manage all aspects of donor accounts and programs including solicitation and cultivation.
  • Lead strategy for expanding programs.
  • Develop and execute plans to increase financial support.
  • Achieve revenue goals ensuring timely reporting of activities.
  • Maintain reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual fundraising results.
  • Plan and facilitate kickoffs for assigned partners and programs.
  • Ensure assigned accounts receive appropriate acknowledgement and recognition in a timely manner.
  • Cultivate and increase relationships with partner accounts via various avenues, including face-to-face meetings, written communication with individuals, corporations, and other entities.
  • Collaborate with staff members and volunteers and work in cooperation with the office staff.
  • Identifying new potential partners for programs, events & campaigns.
  • Develop and execute strategies for re-engaging dormant partners and programs.
  • Continuously update Raiser's Edge database.
  • Assist the office staff in relevant tasks as needed. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least three years of progressive experience in fundraising/grant writing/development.
  • Ability to plan and execute fundraising initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to cultivate and assist assigned partners to increase fundraising results.
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining relationships with individuals responsible for the success of fundraising efforts.
  • Able to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others.
  • Broad base of knowledge and skills related to donor cultivation.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to persuade and inspire prospects and donors.
  • Knowledge of computer programs; Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, database applications, etc.
  • Deadline and detail oriented.
  • High energy, exceptional interpersonal skills, and can-do attitude.
