Description

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports creating high-quality, engaging marketing and communication projects for the Scheck Hillel Community School. The Coordinator works closely with other Marketing and Communications team members to execute online and offline deliverables. 

 

Responsibilities

  • The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will coordinate and assist in all aspects of the Marketing & Communications Department, including (but not limited to), project coordination, updating the website, overseeing event collateral, preparing reports/publications for internal and external stakeholders, writing, and producing social media posts.  
  • Supports the work of the Marketing and Communications Department, assisting with projects to advance the work of key stakeholders. 
  • Plan, develop, and distribute electronic and print communications for events, parents, alumni, and other advancement/school-related activities.
  • Support content creation for department publications, including printed marketing collateral, our weekly newsletter, social media posts, and additional digital communications. 
  • The position is comfortable assisting at various phases of projects and can triage needs and ensure deadlines are met. 
  • Monitor department inbox and provide responses or direction on general school requests. 
  • Assist the Director of Marketing and Communications and/or Chief Institutional Advancement Officer with other projects and duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills and knowledge of grammar. Editing experience is a plus. 
  • Outstanding attention to detail, Self starter with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM, Website Management, Google Suite, and Social Media. 
  • 2-5 years experience in marketing and/or communications with particular focus on project coordination, content creation, digital marketing, corporate communications and website optimization.
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • A knowledge of Jewish culture is a plus
