Account Receivable Specialist for AMIT Children 

The account receivable specialist for AMIT Children is responsible for the performance of a variety of duties including reconciling transactions, providing calculations, batching, totaling, coding, filing, database entry, verifying and providing accurate and timely issuance of accounts receivable.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Enter cash, checks, wire transfers, credit card receipts to database
  • Track recurring credit card donations
  • Maintain cash reports, spreadsheets and files
  • Process bank deposits daily
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Data entry and data reports
  • Perform monthly closings
  • Prepare and reconcile revenue reports monthly
  • Respond to all vendor and staff inquiries
  • Interface with staff in USA and Israel and outside vendors
  • Balance petty cash drawer as needed
  • Assist with preparation of work papers for annual audit
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications: 

  • Two years of accounting experience in the non-profit sector
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Self-monitor work for quality control
  • Open to feedback to improve performance
  • Have a high level of professionalism
  • Advanced experience with Excel
  • Experience with Authorize.net and Raiser’s Edge RENXT a plus
