About the Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition 

The Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition is a network of Jewish community organizations who recognize the existential threat and moral urgency of climate change and commit to take action. Coalition members commit to developing Climate Action Plans, which outline the strategic priorities of their organization’s climate work. 

Through a variety of program supports (including Learning Sessions, Resources Guides, and Climate Action loans and grants), the Coalition supports its members to develop, implement, evaluate, and share their Climate Action Plans annually. For more information about the Coalition, visit  

Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities: 

The Program Coordinator for the Jewish Climate Leadership Coalition will be responsible for providing Coalition members with exceptional customer service throughout the recruitment, onboarding, and programming process. This includes:   

  • Coalition Recruitment
    • Support the development of a Coalition recruitment strategy. 
    • Respond to all inquiries from prospective Coalition members.
    • Facilitate Coalition Info Sessions for prospective Coalition members.
    • Liaise with community partners to host Coalition Info Sessions.
    • Liaise with Marketing and Communications team to recruit new Coalition members through Adamah’s newsletter and social media channels. 
  • Coalition Member Care
    • Register and onboard Coalition member.s 
    • Respond to all general inquiries from Coalition members.
    • Provide Coalition members with support and/or connect Coalition members with other supports when appropriate. 
  • Coalition Data
    • Manage data tracking systems for prospective and current Coalition members. 
  • Coalition Programming
    • Support the development/facilitation/distribution of all elements of Coalition programming including (but not limited to): Welcome Sessions, Communities of Practice, Resource Guides, and Learning Sessions.
  • General
    • Attend weekly department meetings.
    • Attend monthly all-staff meetings.
    • Other duties/tasks as assigned.


The ideal candidate for the Program Coordinator position will possess the following skills/traits: 

  • Excellent customer service.
  • Incredibly detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Lover of data, systems, and structures.
  • Able to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Able to adapt to changing situations.
  • Comfortable working virtually. 
  • Literate about climate action solutions (including strategies for achieving net-zero emissions).
  • Familiarity with Jewish community organizations.

Working Conditions:

This is a full time, exempt remote position with work hours set to Monday-Friday, with some travel and weekend work possibility. Employee will work remotely.
