Middle School STEM Teacher

Chabad Stream School Tamim Academy invites passionate educators to apply for the role of a Math and Science Educator for Middle School Grades This role is vital in nurturing a robust curriculum that encourages students to engage in critical thinking and problem-solving through innovative teaching methods and project-based learning.

This can be a part time or full time position. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct up to 16 teaching periods weekly, delivering an integrated Math and Science curriculum, following New York State Standards. 
• Partner with faculty to develop and execute interdisciplinary STEAM projects that complement and enhance traditional academic subjects.
• Create and maintain an orderly and secure Math and Science learning environments that is conducive to the educational growth of a diverse student body throughout the academic day.
• Manage the Science Lab's resources, ensuring that equipment and supplies are well-organized and readily available.
• Collaborate with the STEAM department to incorporate innovative teaching strategies and technological tools into the curriculum.

• A deep commitment to project-based, experiential learning with a focus on hands-on activities.
• Experience in nurturing creativity and inquiry within a classroom setting.
