Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze congressional legislation, hearings, markups, and developments related to U.S.-Middle East policy, especially as it pertains to Israel, Iran, and regional security.
  • Draft policy memos, briefing documents, fact sheets, talking points, and letters for distribution to congressional offices and coalition partners.
  • Maintain relationships with congressional staffers and help organize meetings between them and the organization's leadership.
  • Support the planning and logistics of Capitol Hill briefings, roundtables, webinars, and advocacy events.
  • Attend congressional hearings and briefings; prepare timely summaries and analysis for internal use.
  • Manage legislative databases and assist in compiling activity reports and grant-related deliverables.
  • Provide administrative and research support to the Policy Director and President, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Middle Eastern Studies, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • 1–3 years of experience in a Capitol Hill office, policy organization, or advocacy non-profit (Hill internship experience considered).

  • Passionate about pro-Israel advocacy and knowledgeable about broader Middle East dynamics.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and research skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable interacting with congressional staff and high-level stakeholders in a professional manner.
