Lead Preschool Teacher

We are a warm welcomig Jewish Preschool inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosphy, with campuses in Hoboken and Jersey City, NJ. We are seeking passionate and experienced Lead Teachers to join our vibrant team for the 20205-2026 school year. 

Our ideal canadidiates are dedicated early childhood educators who are nurturing, collabortaive, and inspired by child-centered, inquiry-based learning. We value strong communicatiors who are open to growth and committed to fostering creativity, curiosity, and kindness in young children. 

Head Teacher Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement a creative, thoughtful curriculum 
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning enviornment 
• Collaborate regularly with families through conferences and communication 
• Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons
• Supervise children across various settings, ensuring saftey and engagement 
• Maintain organization and care of classroom materials and equipment 
• Participate in school events and community-building activities 
• Contribute to a progressive, child-centered educational philosophy
• Additional responsibilities 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree: Early Childhood Education or related field (required)

At least 1 year of experience in preschool or early childhood setting (preferred) 

Familiarity with the Reggio Emilia approch (preferred) 

Warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic about working with young children

Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

Open-minded, reflective, and committed to professional growth
