The Strategic Data Associate will play a vital role in strengthening Hadar's data quality and ability to make data-driven decisions. They will be instrumental in helping Hadar leverage its data assets to drive engagement, increase program participation, and advance organizational goals through thoughtful analysis and strategic implementation. This position requires an analytical professional who can explore data to extrapolate trends and build creative strategies to broaden our networks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong data interpretation skills and strategic thinking. They should be collaborative, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high-quality data systems. This is a New York-based position working closely with various departments to advance our organizational mission. The Strategic Data Associate will be part of the Systems Team and report to the Director of Systems and Technology.

Responsibilities

  1. Data Quality and CRM Management
    • Serve as a core member of Hadar's Systems Team, working to maintain and upgrade the data quality of our CRM
    • Implement best practices for data entry, storage, and retrieval processes
    • Identify opportunities for system improvements to enhance data integrity
    • Collaborate with team members to establish data standards and protocols
       
  2. Strategic Data Analysis
    • Pull and interpret data from Salesforce to promote data-driven decision making organization-wide
    • Analyze end user patterns and demographic information to identify trends
    • Present findings in accessible formats for various stakeholders
       
  3. Engagement Strategy and Implementation
    • Track and measure effectiveness of engagement strategies
    • Collaborate with program teams to implement data-informed approaches
       
  4. Systems Development and Monitoring
    • Help build and manage systems to monitor and gather data across the organization
    • Ensure accurate reporting on key organizational metrics
    • Design data collection methods that balance comprehensive information with user experience
    • Establish regular monitoring schedules to maintain data quality
       
  5. Constituency Research and Insight Development
    • Explore broader questions around our data to better understand our constituencies
    • Identify patterns and trends in our participant engagement
    • Map and analyze our organizational reach across different demographics and regions
    • Generate actionable insights to inform strategic planning and program development

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and use it intentionally within an organization
  • Experience creating and implementing new systems and processes
  • Comfort with learning and adapting to new technologies
  • Highly organized and responsible with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to focus on details while maintaining awareness of the bigger picture
  • Proficiency in data management systems including but not limited to Salesforce, and Tableau
  • Flexible and collaborative spirit, committed to creating a positive work atmosphere
  • Strong analytical thinking with creative problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for translating data insights into strategic recommendations

Salary:
The salary for this position is from $55,000-$65,000
