Roles & Responsibilities

The Young Judaea Israel Programs Marketing Manager is a full-time remote position with full benefits. The hours are flexible, based on the recruitment season and needs of the position. Weekend and evening hours may be necessary. Acting as the main communicator of Young Judaea’s Israel programs, the Marketing Manager is the voice of Young Judaea in a range of digital and print communications. The position’s primary goal is to produce marketing materials, creatively advertise Israel programs, manage our website and ad space, and provide overall support for the recruitment team. Not all job responsibilities may be listed below and candidates should be willing to help wherever needed.

General Responsibilities:

  • Create and edit print and digital marketing materials (brochures, flyers, slide decks, etc.)
  • Update and maintain web presence of all Israel Programs
  • Maintain social media presence on various platforms.
  • Manage online advertising for programs, including Google Ads, social media ads, and digital publication ads.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of all YJ programs and recruitment logistics through ongoing contact with the Young Judaea Recruitment and Marketing teams.
  • Create and execute general email marketing campaigns to all Israel programs audiences.
  • Create and publish blog posts through collaboration with both Israel program alumni and current participants.
  • Identify advertising, sponsorship, and publicity opportunities and coordinate these opportunities with the Recruitment/Marketing Department
  • Keep a pulse on competitors and stay up to date with marketing trends and needs of our target audiences.
  • Ability to manage and problem solve in marketing systems such as Mailchimp, Zapier, Webflow, Wordpress, Elfsight, and more.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in graphic design in your preferred software (Canva, InDesign, Adobe Suite, etc.)
  • Ability to learn new programs and systems

Job Summary

  • Duration: Full-time, Remote/WFH-must be based in the United States
  • Benefits: paid vacation and holidays, sick leave; medical, dental, and vision; 403(b) retirement plan; life and disability insurance; leave early for shabbat and holidays
  • Preferred Experience: digital and print marketing and design experience (2-5 years), knowledge of Israel and youth programs/movements, experience with Young Judaea, Israel programs, and or non-profit organizations is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Salary Range: $40,000-$45,000, commensurate with experience
