This position is a full-time, non-exempt employee of Temple Sinai, Pittsburgh, PA. This individual provides broad-based executive level administrative support and assistant to the three person clergy team. The Clergy Executive Assistant should be proactive in anticipating the needs of the clergy, assuring that clergy are always informed and prepared to perform at an optimal level.
Working closely with the Executive Director as well as staff, lay leaders and volunteers, this position also researches and evaluates the need and benefits of (and may manage) projects as assigned.
Temple Sinai is a Reform synagogue founded in 1946. Temple Sinai is in a transition period of unifying with Rodef Shalom Congregation. Rodef Shalom Congregaiton, founded in 1847, is also a Reform synagogue. Together the two synagogues represent over 1m200 households and will be the primary Reform Jewish presence in Pittsburgh.
