Hillel International

Role Overview

As a Grants Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting Hillel International's grant operations, primarily focusing on grant-making for our Campus Hillels. Working closely with our grants management team, you will utilize our grant management system, Fluxx, to assist in building applications, processing grant agreements, and managing payment information. Your efforts will have a significant impact on the lives of Jewish students.

Responsibilities

Grants Administration

  • Assist in creating and maintaining grant applications, reports, and automated communications in Fluxx.
  • Input and update grant information accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets with necessary data.
  • Generate ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Review grant applications and reports for completeness, following up as needed.
  • Gather data from stakeholders to analyze the impact of funded programs.

Customer Service

  • Address applicant/grantee inquiries regarding proposals, reports, grant agreements, and payments.
  • Collaborate with program teams to support grants across Hillel International.
  • Provide initial support for Fluxx-related questions.

General Support

  • Aid the grants team by scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and performing other tasks as required.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining resources on Hillel's intranet grant site.

What You’ll Bring

  • 0-2 years of professional work experience.
  • Ability to quickly learn new databases, both as a user and an administrator.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, particularly in spreadsheet development and management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt quickly.
  • A willingness to learn and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

What You’ll Get

  • Valuable experience in grants management and communication, both internally and externally.
  • Skills in data analysis and report development.
  • Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
