Overview

In this multi-faceted role, the Administrative Program Director will assist in leading a monthly three-week children's pilot program with approximately 8-10 participants (initially grades 6-9). Days will be split between interactive program management and office administration, ensuring the seamless integration of program delivery and operational efficiency.

Details:

    • Run a daily (M-F) 3-week program for children.
    • Develop a healthy, working relationship with schools and families of students engaged in the program.
    • Oversee office administration and staff supervision.
    • Participate in assessment, reflection, development, and administrative duties every fourth week.
    • Engage with the Board of Directors as needed.

 

 Expectations and Goals

The Director assists the Founder in establishing the foundational supports, including setting up the workspace, management of financial aspects and fiscal accountability, and shaping the team.

Details:

    • Oversee SOPs, especially regarding billing, budget, and payroll.
    • Assist in staff hiring and management.
    • Ensure the program's effective layout and functionality.

 

Team Dynamics

Collaborating with various roles, the Director's leadership fosters synergy, especially with the Founder, shaping cohesive program execution and community ties.

Details:

    • Collaborate with Founder/Program Director/School & Community Liaison.
    • Oversee duties of the Secretary/Office Manager
    • Work with Fundraiser or Development Officer/Consultant, and Strategic Planners.

 

Skills and Education Requirements

A blend of administrative skills, instructional experience, creative problem-solving, and a working knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace, IT, and finance - the ideal candidate thrives in a multifaceted environment.

Details:

    • Master Level in a relevant skill including education,  psychology or business.
    • 2 to 3 years of special education experience with knowledge of goal setting and growth, or experience in team leadership in the school setting.

    • Background in Formal/Informal Instruction
    • Experience with MS Office and Google Workspace, and financial oversight.
