Description
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
Event Planning, Setup and Coordination - work with Director of Admission and Director of Development to help coordinate Development and Admission events throughout the year - from event location, to vendor vetting, attending essential planning meetings, and on location assistance and support for each event from beginning to end.
Database entry and maintenance
Development - Maintain development database (currently Little Green Light (LGL)) by recording gifts, preparing gift receipt letters and monitoring and recording RSVPs and gifts for annual fundraising events
Admission - Maintain enrollment database (currently TADS) and create usable folders of information for prospective Students for admission and current students for retention, including information such as pictures, applications, transcripts, letters of recommendation and supporting data.
Prepare and send Admission and Development Correspondence including correspondence with feeder schools, acceptance letters, gift receipts and coordination with business office on tuition agreements.
Utilize mail platform (currently Mailchimp) for both Development and Admission department events and programming.
Coordinate with social media manager on publicity for Development and Admission department events and programming.
Communicate with Directors, colleagues and other school teachers and administrators in a timely fashion with real time information regarding their responsibilities and calendars.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
A minimum of one year experience and demonstrated success in project management.
An appreciation for the mission and core values of Shalhevet.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Strong collaborative, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Drive and CRMs is required.
