Position Overview

This role involves teaching PreK-2nd grade students on Sundays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Presence: A warm, kind, and enthusiastic demeanor with the ability to connect with children aged 4-8.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Familiarity with a curriculum that encompasses Hebrew decoding, stories, Jewish holidays, values, and customs.
• Teaching Methods: Ability to engage children through stories, art projects, games, movement, and conversation.
• Experience: Previous experience in day camps or classrooms is advantageous. Fluency in Hebrew is also a plus.

Session Structure

Each session will include a 10-minute snack break and 20 minutes of music facilitated by a music teacher. A teen assistant will be available to support the teaching process.
