Since its founding in 2011, over 25,000 graduate students across 103 nationalities have visited Israel with itrek, returning to campus with a more nuanced understanding and appreciation of Israel.

Position Overview
The Senior Program Operations Associate plays a critical role in the day-to-day operations of the Programming department. This position provides operational support for all stages of the Israel Treks planning and execution. The Sr. Program Operations Associate is a key member of the event team for itrek’s annual conference for Israel Trek Leaders. Reporting directly to the Chief Program Officer, the ideal candidate is detail oriented, can manage multiple tasks concurrently, and performs well in a fast-paced environment. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the Israel Trek teams by providing materials such as forms, reports, documents, and any other materials requested to aid in the planning and execution of the Israel Treks
  • Work with the Chief Program Officer (CPO) and other internal and external partners to help execute the annual, multi-day leadership conference 
  • Support the CPO in the creation of meeting materials, such as reports and presentations for Executive Team, Board of Directors, and other meetings
  • Draft agendas and record meeting minutes for the Programming department team meetings and the Board of Directors’ Programming Committee meetings  
  • Partner with the Finance department to process reimbursements and other financial matters for the Israel Trek Leaders
  • Assist with additional projects according to the organization’s needs

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years of related experience in operations, project management, and/or administrative coordination
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and comfortable with technology to learn and utilize software tools
  • Passion for itrek’s mission
  • Excitement to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and innovative environment
  • Experience with Salesforce, Survey Monkey, and/or Basecamp is a plus

Salary range $58,000-$63,000; commensurate with experience 

itrek is a hybrid work environment with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
