Job Title: Executive Assistant

Location: DC area-Remote work most of the time

Employment Type: Full-Time

Annual Salary: $75,000

Candidate Qualities

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive executive assistant who has facility with numbers. Applicant must have strong executive function, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to keep confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with higher education, Israel, and will have experience as an executive assistant.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Assistant

  • Manage and maintain the executive’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, and ensuring the executive does not miss meetings or submission deadlines.
  • Keep the executive director on task, ensuring all emails, projects, and tasks are completed in a timely manner, and that executive director responds to emails, texts, and other requests for attention.
  • Coordinate travel logistics (domestic and international) and process receipts.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as saving documents, scheduling meetings, doing data entry, and other office organization.
  • Assist the executive in organizing receipts, authorizing payments, and checking billing and payments are accurate.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain the highest level of integrity.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the executive director or chief operating officer.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check
  • Exacting attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent ability to follow financial policies and procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (specifically, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
