Your Department
The IT Department creates and implements the IT strategy and systems supporting the organization's mission and objectives. We ensure that AJC’s infrastructure serves the computing, data management, and communication needs of more than 300 employees on four continents.
Your Impact
This position makes an impact at AJC by providing effective execution of tasks and providing essential support to the success of the team/department; may lead small projects. Works with regular oversight to solve routine problems and make routine decisions.
The incumbent processes donations, and maintains donor records with accuracy and efficiency; is responsible for entering donations into the CRM/Raiser's Edge, reconciling daily transactions, and working across teams to ensure successful donation processing.
Your Role
- Process donations into Raiser's Edge: Enter pledges, checks, wires, and donations submitted via multiple sources such as online
- donations/Classy, internal requests, lockbox, mail, Benevity, EventBrite, etc.
- Maintain donor records in Raiser’s Edge by creating new accounts and updating existing ones.
- Assist in preparing daily reports or other related projects to help ensure data accuracy.
- Work with Raiser's Edge team and Development to determine proper allocation of gifts.
- Work with the Payroll Administrator in processing employee donations to be deducted through payroll.
- Contact National Development or the Regional Offices if additional information is needed to process donations.
- Adjust gifts in Raiser’s Edge as needed and organize/categorize back-up documents for the Finance Department.
- Assist the Development staff in confirming or updating outstanding pledges.
- File back-up documentation of donations through PaperSave and internal filing structures.
- Work with Development staff in communicating with donors to help answer questions about tax receipt records and specific donor records.
- Additional responsibilities related to gift processing and reporting.

Education, Training, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
- Intermediate job skills and knowledge

Compensation
The salary for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 depending on relevant experience and location.
