Since its founding in 2011, over 20,000 graduate students across 103 nationalities have visited Israel with itrek, returning to campus with a more nuanced understanding and appreciation of Israel. 

itrek is a growing 25-person team based in New York and Israel that continues to operate as a fast-moving and nimble organization. We love exploring new ideas and collaborating as a team to push ourselves and our thinking.

Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Development and Institutional Giving and sitting within the itrek Growth team, this position is focused on supporting and expanding the development department’s day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized and process-oriented and loves seeing things run efficiently. The Development Operations Associate will focus on creating a seamless and productive workflow, managing the team’s CRM database (Salesforce), assisting with technological tools, supporting the production of events, and providing back-end logistical support across the team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the advancement of itrek’s CRM, including inputting and updating records and producing comprehensive donor lists and reports
  • Coordinate packets for donor meetings including coordination with marketing staff
  • Support the production of fundraising events, both in-person and virtual including registrations, logistics planning, and vendor management
  • Support development campaigns by implementing digital fundraising initiatives, conducting follow-up with donors and prospects, and creating summary reports
  • Support members of the Leadership Team in their management of itrek Boards and relevant engagement and development activity
  • Assist in prospect research to identify high-level prospective donors
  • Recommend improvements to development systems
  • Provide administrative support to fundraising professionals, as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Prior involvement in fundraising or operations preferred, which can include internships and volunteer work
  • Passion for itrek’s mission
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills 
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines 
  • Proactive and self-driven, while also able to collaborate across teams
  • Excitement to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, committed team

Salary range $50,000-$60,000; commensurate with experience

itrek is a hybrid work environment with a minimum of two days per week in the office. To be employed by itrek you must be fully vaccinated and to work in the office/attend in-person company events you either need to be up-to-date with your booster shot or comply with a testing requirement.
