Marketing Associate

Marketing Associate:

Temple Emanuel is looking for a motivated Marketing Associate to join our Marketing team. This position requires assisting the Marketing Department with implementation of innovative marketing and social media strategies.

The position requires an ability to be multi-task oriented, self-sufficient, dependable, ability to cope under pressure, maintain good judgement, eager to learn and a professional, supportive attitude. The ideal candidate must possess excellent computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Publisher, Constant Contact and a strong knowledge of the digital media landscape. Candidate should be creative with excellent writing and communication skills, well organized, detail oriented, and possess the ability to work independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily monitoring and posting to social networks, participating in online outreach and promotion, and optimizing our website. This position utilizes a combination of daily social network management, paid ad campaigns, online outreach and promotion, blogs and website content to drive social strategy.

Responsibilities:

Work with the Director of Marketing to create and implement marketing and social media campaigns

Leads the daily creation and publishing of relevant, engaging, high-quality content on social media platforms

Fosters engagement in our online community by responding to followers and connecting with key community influencers

Collaborates with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute social media content, leveraging social media as integral component of overall communications strategy

Manage content for our website

Create and manage weekly e newsletter

Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts

Provide general support to our marketing team

Monitor analytics on social media platforms to identify viable ideas

Maintain/update marketing collateral material

Serve as company editor on an as needed basis for outgoing written materials

Other duties related to marketing as assigned

Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field

1-2 years’ experience in marketing or communications

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Excellent multitasking and time management skills

In-depth working knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok

Experience with Constant Contact

Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights

Must possess initiative and be highly motivated

Bonus - basic knowledge of Photoshop and Wordpress and Judaism

Job Type: Full-time, Tuesday – Friday, on call on the weekends

Leave early for Shabbat
